Bio
Kristie Mercer has spent most of her life behind a microphone. Firstly as a professionally trained singer, later as a radio host and currently as one half of much-loved duo The Thinkergirls.
Kristie cut her teeth in the radio industry from just 20. Quickly recognised for her natural ability, she shot around the country in various rating-winning breakfast radio shows (Gippsland, Albury + The Central Coast to name a few) and alongside radio BFF Stacey June as The Thinkergirls – which initially launched as one of Australia’s first and most successful podcasts – later became a hugely popular National radio show across the KIIS / MIX Network. The Thinkergirls viral videos have been seen over 5 million times, consistently sell out National Live tours and this year launched The Thinkergirls Pod Channel.
After asking herself ‘what makes me happy?’ this year Kristie returned to music and her soulful voice can be heard as she regularly around Sydney. She is a regular social commentator on Sunrise, writer (published on news.com.au, Cosmopolitan Magazine & MamaMia) & has begun working on her first EP.
