April Cello is a versatile cellist, combining the sound of her soulful cello with looping technology to create a rich sound and an atmosphere of elegance. With over a decade of experience performing at weddings and corporate events, April is a terrific find and is guaranteed to entertain and impress. This talented musician and loop artist delivers an entertaining performance full of contemporary heart-warming, swoon-inducing, and toe-tapping songs that you and your guests will know and love.

Wedding Packages

Here are the wedding packages that I offer:

1.      Wedding Ceremony:

• Pre-ceremony – music to set the atmosphere as guests arrive at your ceremony location.
• Ceremony – your chosen favourite songs for the bridal entrance, signing of the register, and bridal party exit.
• Post-ceremony – a short set to finish off the ceremony.

2.      Wedding Ceremony and Afternoon Entertainment:

• All of the above, plus live music to entertain your guests while they mingle and canapes are served.

Music and Song Choices

So, what does ‘April Cello’ (solo electric cello with looper) sound like, you might be asking? Thanks to the miracle of looping technology, I am able to layer multiple tracks of cello sound to create a full and lush string sound. Think the fullness and versatility of a string quartet in one neat, petite package! Most songs are possible to recreate as instrumental background music, and my song list is made up of contemporary heart-warming, swoon-inducing and toe-tapping songs that you and your guests will know and love.

I’m happy to work with you between now and your wedding day to assist you realise your musical ideas. To help you choose three amazing songs for your Weddings Ceremony, I’ve attached my song list which is full of wedding ceremony favourites. If you have your heart set on a specific song (or songs) that are is not on my song list, please let me know as I’m happy to learn special song requests to make your Wedding Ceremony special and unique!

Quote Inclusions, and Terms and Conditions

Your quote includes the following amazing features:

• All travel fees.
• Hire of full amplification equipment (including set up and pack down).
• Ceremony Music made up of personalised songs chosen by you.
• One special song request included in your fee (outside of my provided wedding song list).
• Time spent learning and perfecting all Ceremony Songs that you have chosen.
• Pre-ceremony and post-ceremony music will be chosen for you by me to create the perfect atmosphere for your wedding. However, I am happy to accept a wish list of songs from my wedding song list to include in the performance.
• A well-prepared musician (me!) who will arrive at your venue with plenty of time to spare to complete set up and sound check, and discuss music cues with your Celebrant / Minister or wedding coordinator prior to the ceremony.
• Unlimited communication.

As part of your quote, the following terms and conditions apply:

• Your booking will be secured upon receipt of a non-refundable deposit.
• Fees must be paid in full one week before the event date.
• All song choices must be confirmed at least one month prior to the event date.
• Up to two song requests can be allocated per wedding. Allocation for one of these requests is already included in your fee. If the second song request is required, there is a fee of $50.
• My performance is instrumental music (solo cello and looper for all songs.
• Access to power must be provided at each performance location (within 40 metres).
• Any change of location during the booking time will require up to 15 minutes for me to move and set up my equipment again, during which time no music will be provided.
• Adequate shelter from rain, strong winds and intense heat must be provided for the performance, which may include providing a sheltered location or shelter if needed.
• In the case of inclement weather or other adverse conditions that may damage the performer’s equipment, the performer reserves the right to decide to stop playing.
• In the event that performance is unable to go ahead due to causes beyond the control of either parties, the performer shall have no further liability with respect to the engagement of services.
